People without a hosting solution are already particularly vulnerable to the risks associated with Covid-19. Recent government measures taken to limit the spread of Covid-19 pose an additional risk of exclusion for these individuals.

The shelters being saturated, many homeless people are forced to stay on the streets. They are thus unable to respond to certain measures, in particular the curfew introduced in response to the health crisis.

Eight organizations have decided to take the lead in protecting this vulnerable population. Starting this Monday, "certificates of non-housing" will be distributed to people on the street by mobile marauding teams, street workers, hospital emergency services, etc.

In these particularly difficult times, supporting homeless people who are already particularly hard hit by their situation should not be an option, but a collective responsibility of the authorities, society and all of its actors.

CERTIFICATE OF NON-HOUSING

We would like to thank the municipal authorities and all the police services for showing solidarity in support of people who have no other accommodation option than the street and public spaces.
